CPElite,TM Inc. is an IRS-approved sponsor and is listed on the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy’s (NASBA) National Registry [NASBA # 103215].  Additionally, the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. has accepted our programs for continuing education credit.

In what formats does CPElite,TM Inc. provide CPE materials?

CPElite,TM Inc. offers CPE credit through our newsletters and courses. We offer an annual subscription to our quarterly which provide timely information from Congress, the IRS, the Courts, and the Treasury. 

 

We also offer several “stand-alone” courses each year.  We are currently offering our “Individual Income Taxation Series” and our “Business Income Taxation Series.”  The Individual Income Taxation series consists of four 6-hour courses on individual income taxation.  The Business Income Taxation series features two S Corporation Taxation courses and two Partnership Taxation courses.  As demand dictates other topics, we will rotate courses periodically.

How does CPElite,TM Inc.’s CPE materials compare to those of other organizations?

Compared to CPE materials offered by national organizations such as the AICPA, the quality of our materials is second to none and our cost structure offers considerable savings to you.  Each course is written in understandable language and contains many examples and TAX SAVERS.  Our newsletters contain tax compliance and tax planning pointers.

Does CPElite,TM Inc.’s CPE material meet AICPA/NASBA standards for CPAs and licensed accountants?

Our courses and newsletters conform with the enhanced AICPA/NASBA Standards for providers of continuing professional education.  Several states (such as Florida, Tennessee, Minnesota, Oregon and South Carolina) require CPE material to be QAS-approved to receive full CPE credit.  While we are listed on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors, our materials currently are not QAS-approved.

Are CPElite,TM Inc.’s CPE materials accepted for CFPs?

The Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. has accepted our programs for continuing education credit.  We have not applied to the CFP’s Board’s Code of Ethics and Responsibility, which requires separate approval for satisfying hours in ethics.  Effective January 2008, CPE sponsors are required to electronically report CPE credit earned by CFPs to the CFP Board.  We will need either the last four digits of your social security number or your certificant/CFP Board ID number before we can report this information to the CFP Board.

Do I have to complete my CPE credits through your on-line testing system?

No; you may still complete your CPE credits through the mail by using the answer sheet and mailing instructions provided in the newsletter.  If you prefer to take your CPE tests in this manner, you may purchase and download the education materials and testing materials directly from the CPElite,TM Inc. site store or use the newsletter you receive in the mail.  After we receive and score your answer sheet, we will mail a certificate of completion to those who scored 70% or better.

Is there an additional charge for on-line testing?

No; the prices in our CPElite,TM Inc. store are identical to those on the Test.com testing site.  On-line testing is a convenience we provide our customers who are interested in testing on-line and receiving immediate proof of completion.

Am I still dealing with CPElite,TM Inc. or Test.com?

Q9:

You are still a CPElite,TM Inc. customer!  Test.com is a service company hired by CPElite,TM Inc. to provide the software and access for our customers to be able to test on-line.  While your purchases for on-line testing take place physically on the Test.com site, the transactions process through CPElite,TM Inc. accounts via Google Checkout.  The process is linked into the Test.com site only to notify the system to which tests you should receive access.

How will I receive my certificate of completion after testing on-line?

Your certificate of completion will be provided to you in three different formats.  First, you will receive a printable certificate of completion in a pop-up window after you successfully complete your test.  You may print it immediately or save it to a file on your computer.  Second, you will receive an email copy of your certificate sent to the email address on file with CPElite, Inc.  Finally, your certificate of completion will be stored with your record of completed tests on Test.com.  You will be able to access your certificates at any time by logging into your account.
